Privacy policy

This policy explains how CA Reetu Bhandari, Chartered Accountant (ICAI Membership No. 536302), operating this website as CAreetu (“we”, “us”), handles personal data collected through careetu.com. We process personal data in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law.

What we collect

We collect only what you choose to give us through our forms: your name, designation, email address, phone number, company name, city, revenue band, target listing timeline and any message you write. If you request a call from the eligibility checker, the figures and answers you entered in the checker are sent with your request.

The eligibility checker itself runs in your browser. Figures you enter are not sent to us unless you submit the call request form.

Like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited in server logs for security and operation. This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Why we use it

We use your details, on the basis of the consent you give when submitting a form, to respond to your enquiry, to arrange and hold a call, and to follow up on that enquiry. We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

Your enquiry is delivered by email and handled by us. Service providers who host this website and our email process data on our behalf. The website loads fonts from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when a page loads. We may share information with TaxVic Business Solutions only where you ask us to involve them in routine compliance work. We disclose data to authorities only where required by law.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry does not lead to an engagement, we delete it within 24 months of our last contact with you. If it does, we keep records for as long as professional and legal record-keeping requirements apply.

Your rights

You may ask us to tell you what personal data we hold about you, to correct or complete it, or to erase it, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out. You may also nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these rights, or to raise a grievance, email reetu@taxvic.com with the subject “Privacy request”. We will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may approach the Data Protection Board of India.

Security

This website is served over HTTPS. Access to enquiries is limited to people who need it to respond. Please do not send confidential financial documents through website forms.

We will update this page if our practices change, and show the date of the latest version above.
